Inadequate dental hygiene can cause numerous problems not only to your mouth but throughout your body. Most people consider regular dental checkups to be something you do when you’re younger.

However, as you age your body tends to breakdown and this also includes your teeth so keeping consistent with your dental hygienist is important at any age. Of course this doesn’t mean you can slack on your regular practice of caring for your teeth. In fact, I’ve read quite often that you should brush and floss daily. Quite honestly, that leads me to believe once a day is enough. Quite frankly, it isn’t. You are required to eat three meals on a daily basis.

Generally, it’s taught that people should brush after meals. Therefore, brushing three times a day would be more appropriate. Flossing is important because most often, brushing doesn’t get all the particles from between your teeth. Food left behind turns into bacteria quickly. This bacterium sets the stage for a majority of problems with your teeth. Flossing will prevent this from happening.

Rinsing also helps in killing bacteria not to mention, makes your breath smell fresh and clean. For those who are generally found within groups, the company you keep will be grateful. Regular routine cleanings by your hygienist are also crucial because no matter how hard you try there is likely to be little microscopic nuisances lying around in your mouth. It is also important for us to understand the effect our nutritional habits has on our teeth.

Poor diet can lead to significant dental problems especially in adolescents because of their tendency to indulge in foods with high sugar content. Soda, is especially damaging. Eating foods which are high in vitamin and mineral content will help your defense against potential dental difficulties. Keeping your dentist informed is also very important. People tend to overlook telling their dentist about clicking, locking, or grinding in relation to their teeth or jaw.

Grinding your teeth can be very damaging and possible cause them to crack or break. The problem is, some people tend to do this in their sleep and don’t realize it. So discussing with your dentist symptoms such as soreness and pain can be significant in diagnosing the problem and getting treatment. Maintaining your dental hygiene does take effort but it’s far more difficult to restrict your smile.

This form of tantric massage therapy makes you feel as though you’re in a stage of trance where the physical boundaries dissolves to every limit possible because tantric massaging involves the connection between the naked bodies of man and woman to have forgotten the worries and insulting situational aspects of either disrespecting or feeling shy and sensitive enough to touch each other bodies with a lust or a sheer seduction. The massager of the tantric let the person to recline to his/her back with pillows under and beneath the head and a specific towel covers up the entire hip region to have been exposed. The knees are slightly bent with legs being made slightly wide open. Your fingers; nipples; toes of the feet; chest; breasts; thighs and abdominal regions are carefully and gently pressured with massage with the help of aromatic oils.

Certain natural tantric massaging centers involve natural usage of herbs and shrubs to be mixed to make the muscles and bones of the human strong enough and relaxed enough for activities done. With the help of tantric massaging the individuals energy starts flowing from one “Chakra” to another and transforms enormous amount of energy throughout the body organs. The energy is stimulated and senses are awakened with increased sensitivity of the individual for various worldly matters. The client of the massage is coached to breathe efficiently with proper or convenient way of breathing processing because the massager in turn trying to make you sink into the deeper level of relaxation slowly and gradually. As according to certain benefitted customers of tantric massaging this form is rather called upon as “Loving ceremony” to complete nurture and pamper the person to reach to the hands of God and Goddess. This is the form of feeling tried to be generated by a massager in a person and a person’s feeling to fly like a bird or becomes as light as a feather germinates automatically after a certain specific period or time of massaging. A sense of well-being is definitely assured by the massager of the process towards the client to visit him/her again some other day. If certain individuals have wrong notions about tantric massaging as it might even done for a sake of sex or otherwise then there would be a catastrophic mistake committed by one to simply giggle and shyly mutter about gentle touching either by a man to a naked woman or a woman to a naked man. Hindus have termed tantric massaging as a normal personal growth through pleasurable existence of sweet and subtle life process with a touch of perfection and for some who are already enjoying a healthy sex life as a mode of entertainment too.

Tantric massaging in broader terms does not actually involves the penetrative sex drive but it rather involves touching of complete organs of the body especially the reproductive regions of a human body. The tantric massaging is difficult to search upon in domestic or local parlance of your specific area or place. It is specially done on demand as still this form of exercise is taboo in certain societies as certain places term there centers to be misleading to be compared with a “prostitute centre”. It’s available in massage parlors of the world only. Banishing all your thoughts of kneading your lover unless she begs for your mercy is the most seducing criteria of having to have preferred the tantric massaging because there shouldn’t be any room for nudity clause to appear at the time of relaxation process for even shyness with frustration/irritation of a sort.

• One of the best ways to prevent bacteria from spreading and catching the common cold is to wash one’s hands. The procedure may sound simple but inappropriate measures are taken by ‘Public’ to wash hands efficiently without a single remaining of Dust/Bacteria harboring.

Controlling Body Odor

• The prevention of ‘Body Odor’ is overcome through various practices of knowing different parts or organs concerned so that others couldn’t feel frustrated for ex: controlling of excessive perspiration/sweating, usage of odor’s/fragrances of ‘Perfumes/Deodorants’ underarms or over the specific attire for ‘Grand parties/ceremonies, etc. and usage of woolen clothes that helps subsiding the fond body odor of an individual for a long span of time. Daily bathing and shower are enough to control smelly body odors as the custom worldwide (Antiperspirants/Scented Soaps).

Skin

• ‘Skin’ is the largest organ of the body as found everywhere over the body with tiny cells that harbors many viruses and bacteria’s and help in soaking the nutrients out of proteins and vitamins to have a soft and subtle touch and also to make it look more fluffy enough to be touched again and again. The thick inner layer is made up of blood vessels, nerves, and hair follicles, which contain glands. Daily washing will keep the skin on the face and other areas of the body clean by removing the dirt, oil, and dead cells before they can accumulate.
Basic Skin Care

a) Dermatologists recommend the following for clean, healthy skin:

• Use lotions only if needed, and use ones that are oil-free and water-based.
• Try to identify what irritates the skin; if it’s stress, try to reduce stress levels.
• Leave pimples alone; picking, popping, or squeezing them will only make them worse.
• Have only a dermatologist remove or extract pimples.
• Try to avoid touching the face.
• Keep hands clean by washing them often.
• Try to stay out of the sun, and use a sunscreen every day during summer and winter.
• ‘Sun-tanning’ is one of the examples: sufficient Vitamin-D from ultraviolet rays.

Sun Protection

• ‘Ultraviolet’ rays are enormously dangerous and effective to one’s soft skin because they penetrate deep inside many layers of skin ‘The Dermatologists’ scared about and cause dreadful ‘Skin Cancer’! Sunscreen should be used every day because the sun can do damage even when it’s cold or cloudy outside. If sunburn does occur, wet compresses and soothing lotions can help relieve the pain. If painful blisters or swelling appears, it’s best to see a doctor. Too much of ‘Sun bath’ is also equally dangerous to show its outcome over the skin by causing irritation/itch/red pimples, etc.

Makeup

• ‘Hypoallergenic’ substances should be used to do the make-ups as allergy symptoms are experienced by many re-known dermatologists worldwide with side effects as well. It help
prevents irritations over the designated areas of the face and helps in correct ‘facial Expressions’ sometimes with the importance and availability of one for a special reason. ‘Allergic Reactions’ are everybody’s worry to look gorgeous or handsome. Don’t use shared make-ups as it spreads bacteria from one to another.

Hair

• ‘Hair’ grows from the root of the head scalp and projects the individual’s overall secret that reveals the person’s soft personality trait before others as it’s the part and parcel of our beauty secret! The different fashions of the types of ‘Hair’ vary from person to person and indeed! The different color texture as well as thick and thin effect. Whatever may be the type it must always help it look and smell good and prevent the development of scalp problems.

ATHLETE’S FOOT

• ‘Athlete’s Foot or Ringworm’ is a disease caused by fungus and acute bacteria of the foot that happens usually to males over twelve years of age rather then to women community commonly found as it’s the infection that severely damages the toes, of the foot and provides extended ‘Swelling’. Athlete’s foot thrives in moist, damp conditions, especially when a person is wearing tight shoes and socks in hot weather. When the feet cannot breathe due to a lack of ventilation, athlete’s foot can occur. Sometimes, the skin between the toes will peel and crack, and at other times, blisters develop on the soles and sides of the feet. In most cases, there is an itch that accompanies these other symptoms.

Prevention of ‘Athletes foot’ demands: -

• Antifungal cream application all around the foot.
• Wash feet every day.
• Be sure to dry feet thoroughly, especially in between the toes.
• Only wear socks made of cotton, and change them if they get moist or damp.
• Go barefoot when at home.
• Try to wear sandals, and avoid tight shoes in warm weather.
• If possible, use an antifungal powder in tight shoes.

Boys and Facial Hair

• As facial hair continues to grow, many boys will opt to shave. As a personal choice, one that depends on how fast and thick the hair grows. It also depends on whether or not a beard, goatee, or mustache is desired. However often a man wishes to shave his face, a traditional or disposable razor with shaving cream or gel or an electric razor may be used for shaving facial hair.

HAIR REMOVAL: A PERSONAL CHOICE

• TWEEZING : Plucking hairs with a pair of tweezers is a safe and clean way to remove hair; however, it only removes a single hair at a time, making it a more effective method for removing hair on the eyebrow area or removing a single, stray hair.

• Depilatories/Waxing : ‘Depilatories’ are lotions, creams, and gels that chemically dissolve body hair near the root. They tend to be time-consuming and can be messy. Depilatories are effective for removing leg and bikini hair as well as underarm hair. ‘Waxing’ involves warmed wax that is applied to the skin. A strip of cloth is then placed atop the wax. The strip is pulled back, removing the hair at the root. This procedure is typically done in salons and can be time-consuming. Also, waxing can often be painful and irritating to the skin.

• Electrolysis/laser : This hair-removal procedure takes place in the office of an electrologist (a professional trained to perform electrolysis). Hair is destroyed permanently at the root using an electric current. A needle is placed into the skin where the hair protrudes so that electricity can destroy the hair follicle. ‘Laser treatments’ that remove hair are expensive and the results last only two months at first.

TEETH

• In order to ensure the sustainable, healthy and white teeth all around the year in any circumstance of a kind it is important to keep utmost care of the natural teeth then imitating with other technological advancement done with the help of ‘Dentists’ to have any ‘artificial teeth implant’.

There are hosts of ways/reasons to maintain a healthy smile every time through: -

• Brushing
• Flossing
• Tooth Decay and Cavities
• Gum Disease

`Brushing` removes the plaque (a sticky film of bacteria that grows around the teeth) that causes tooth decay, or cavities. Brushing also helps keep gums healthy and breath fresh. One should choose a soft-bristled toothbrush with a shape that suits one’s mouth. Use toothpaste with fluoride (a chemical compound that is added to toothpaste and drinking water to help prevent tooth decay), hold the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle against the gums, and brush back and forth in short movements. Make certain to brush the outer, inner, and chewing surfaces (or flat surfaces) of the teeth. Brushing the tongue will help remove bacteria that can cause bad breath.

`Flossing` between teeth is a very important habit to acquire. Ideally, flossing should be done every time the teeth are brushed. Using dental floss removes plaque that is caught between the teeth. This will help prevent both cavities and gum disease. If it’s difficult handling ‘Floss’, there are many types of interdentally cleaners that accomplish the same thing as floss. These include different kinds of picks and dental sticks that can be found in a pharmacy or drug store.

`Tooth Decay and Cavities` : ‘Plaque’ is the main cause of tooth decay, or cavities, and gum disease. When people eat especially sugary foods or foods abundance with acids of different nature they don’t brush their teeth right away, the plaque bacteria in their mouths make acids. These acids then attack the enamel on the teeth. When this happens repeatedly, teeth will begin decaying. Cavities accompanied by painful toothaches can develop.

`Gum Disease` occurs when soft gums inside the teeth cavity get severely damaged due to some specific reasons as predominantly ‘Brushing’ hard over the gum’ is the dangerous cause that severely produces ‘Bleeding’ of the gum. Over time, the gums and the bone around the teeth can become weakened. This can cause teeth to fall out. When this happens, it means a condition known as periodontitis is present. Bad breath is the result of poor oral hygiene. When bacteria build up in the mouth, it can lead to a bad taste in one’s mouth and a bad odor too. Regularly brushing the teeth as well as the tongue often helps eliminate bad breath. Symptoms of gingivitis include red, swollen gums.

EARS

The `Ear` consists of three parts: the outer, middle and the inner part. One mustn’t be worried about the outer part for hygiene purposes as it’s easily be cleaned thereupon as middle and inner ear parts implies the substance called ‘Earwax’. This wax shouldn’t be cleaned normally without the consultation from an ENT practitioner. The ear canal is self-cleaning. Wax is secreted into the ear canal by glands that are found in the skin of the canal. This wax and other particles, such as dust, travel down the ear canal and are washed away or fall out to make room for new wax being made. It is not necessary to use cotton swabs to clean the ear canal. In fact, using them can harm the ear by pushing wax toward the eardrum, where it can get stuck and cause blockage or an ear infection.
While cleaning the pinna and behind the ear is good hygiene, the rest of the ear will usually take care of itself.
`Ear irrigation` is a process in which warm water is gently flushed into the ear canal so that the earwax can dislodge and rinse away with the water. Another method involves using a vacuum that is inserted just inside the ear canal and then sucks out the excess wax. `Swimmers Ear` If there is excessive wax lingering in the ear canal, it can trap water in the ear canal. This trapped water will soften the skin in the ear canal, which makes it more vulnerable to bacteria. When bacteria cause an infection, the ear may swell, itch, and be painful to the touch.

`Ear candling` is an alternative method of removing earwax. It is a process in which the unlit end of a beeswax candle is put over the opening of the ear canal. By covering the opening of the ear canal, a vacuum (an empty space with no air) is created between the opening and the eardrum at the end of the canal. When the candle is lit, the warmth of the candle loosens the earwax, and because the wax has no where to fall in the vacuum, it is drawn out toward the flame and collects at the bottom of the candle.

Most medical doctors do not approve of ear candling and believe it does not offer any benefits to the patient. Ear candling should not be done alone or without a skilled professional who is familiar with the procedure. It’s important to check out the background and references of any healer who performs this procedure before having it done. Loud music and the common use of earphones with portable radios and CD players probably have contributed to this hearing loss. Also, most live rock concerts have volumes that reach damaging levels. Wearing earplugs to concerts can help prevent hearing loss db (decibel) sound is used to access the sound frequency.

NAILS

• Like hair, ‘nails’ are formed by keratin. Tiny cells living at the base and side of the nail manufacture the keratin that produces nails. The cuticle (the skin surrounding the nail) protects these cells.
Keeping Nails Clean and Neat
• Nails should always be kept clean and neatly trimmed or filed. Dirt and bacteria can get trapped in nails that aren’t clean and can cause toe nail fungus. As with the hands, nails are a way for bacteria to be passed from person to person. Preventing the spread of bacteria prevents the spread of illness and infection. Nails that are excessively long can, by virtue of their length, hold more dirt than shorter nails. Those with longer nails, then, need to be more diligent about keeping their nails clean. Hangnails (loose skin near the base of the nail) should be carefully trimmed with a cuticle clipper and the area kept clean to prevent infections.Manicures and pedicures (for the toenails) can help keep nails clean and well-shaped.

EAR PIERCING

• Ear piercing is a common practice among girls as well as boys, choosing to pierce one’s ears is a personal decision. Some people try to pierce their own ears. Doctors do not recommend this because, without proper sterilization, a person risks injury and infection. Home methods and home ear-piercing kits do not allow a person to properly sterilize the needle used to pierce the ear. An infection can cause the ear to swell and, in more serious cases, scar the earlobe. Cleaning the lobes with alcohol or mild soap two times each day is recommended by experts.

But do you know that there is a way to prevent osteoporosis, or at least lessen your risk for it, even from a very young age? Studies show that there are certain factors that improve a woman’s chances of not acquiring osteoporosis when she ages:

Before the age of thirty:

1.	A woman’s level of physical activity in her teens dictates the bone mass she accumulates during that time. For example, a woman who frequently exercises has greater chances of having extra bone density to see her through old age. Even better would be strength resistance exercises such as weight lifting, of course, after the onset of puberty. This improves bone density the most, compared to all other types of exercises, although any physically active lifestyle is always better than a sedentary one.
2.	The regular consumption of milk during one’s teenage years as well as early adulthood also contribute to the calcium that you ingest; this results in a greater production of bone mass for that age. Studies show that women’s bone density stops growing and starts deteriorating when she reaches the age of thirty, so it is crucial that you stock up on it before that age.

After the age of thirty:
1.	Consistent exercise is still a must for keeping your bones healthy. Just as in your teen years, regularly undertaking strength training exercises will help you ensure that your muscles are developing well, giving less strain on your bones. Stretching exercises that improve your flexibility also lessen your chances of injury during a sudden movement or fall.
2.	Taking calcium supplements from this age is usually recommended by doctors. This can be in the form of calcium drinks, or even milk with higher levels of calcium designed for middle-aged women.

When you are pregnant:
1.	When you become pregnant, some of the calcium in your body goes to the unborn fetus. This is why obstetricians typically prescribe not just iron for the pregnant mom, but also calcium. There are myths about how some women lose their teeth when they get pregnant because the baby “eats” up all her calcium. While this is certainly an exaggeration, the connection between teeth and calcium may not be undermined: there is definitely a connection between a mother’s calcium levels and her pregnancy. As such it is even more important during pregnancy, at any age, for a woman to take in calcium supplements are recommended by her doctor.
2.	If your pregnancy has no threat of abortion, from the second trimester, your doctor may allow you to undergo certain exercises. This not only benefits your overall health, but also helps ensure that your bones and muscles get enough movement, especially as you start carrying a growing weight inside your body. This added strain means your bones need the necessary supplements, too!

When you are over forty:
1.	From age forty up, doctors will typically up your dosage of calcium supplements. Whereas, at age thirty, you probably took them nonchalantly, from forty years old up, it would be best if you took them religiously. This is because your bone density has the greatest risk of deteriorating from this point onwards. Eating a lot of calcium-rich food like green leafy vegetables and dairy might also help, although you need to watch out for high-fat dairy products.
2.	Living an active lifestyle is still crucial. If, at this age, you cannot perform the exercise routines you used to do when you were younger, you still have one option that is still considered the best exercise no matter what your age: walking. Walking a few miles each week should ensure that you are living a healthy lifestyle.

From these pointers, you can surely gather that a calcium-rich diet and a bone-friendly exercise regime are crucial no matter what your age. In any case, you can see that it is an easy fight against osteoporosis, although a certain level of consistency is necessary to maintain your bone density throughout the decades!

Walking is referred to as the simplest form of exercise. But do you know that a simple routine as walking can deliver countless benefits to the human health? You may not realize it but there is more to walking than just building your calf and leg muscles. Some people love walking but there are others who don’t even bother to take a few steps to get something from the refrigerator.

For your information, walking is key to optimum health. If you look back through time, you will see that people in the past used to live longer lives, and this has something to do with them using walking as a primary means of traveling.

There is an ancient belief that claims the feet are the reflection of the entire body. According to this belief, there are nerve endings in the soles of both feet that are connected to the bodily organs, and when you apply pressure to these points, you are actually promoting healing to organs that correspond to it. This belief has been popularized by a method called reflexology, which works by stimulating the feet with certain amounts of pressure to bring healing and relaxation to the body.

Aside from that there are other several health benefits of walking that might just convince you to make a habit of it yourself.

First, walking at least thirty minutes a day does not only reduce your risk for coronary heart disease but it also cuts down your chance of having a stroke. In one study, people who made walking a habit have been found to have cut down their risk for both the deadly diseases. Walking promotes circulation in the body. It even helps clear up clogged arteries that are usually the cause of hypertension. According to experts, a daily routine that consists of a 30-minute brisk walk can boost the heart’s glucose intake and make the arteries more flexible. Adding fifteen more minutes to the same routine will also increase the elasticity of your carotid by up to 50 percent!

If you’re a heart patient, doctors advise that you walk long and walk hard regularly. Doing so will not only help you reap plenty of heart healthy benefits but will also make you lose weight, an important factor to having a healthy heart.

Walking is also good for the brain. Some experts discovered that besides regular exercise, walking alone can help boost the brain’s health. People who walked at least five miles a week were found to have bigger brains, which means they have better memory and increased mental ability compared to people who don’t. This is because the walking helps build up the connective circuits that make up the brain’s network.

When you grow old, the connectivity of the circuits in your brain slowly diminishes which is why your body doesn’t function the way it used to when you were younger. With walking, these deteriorating brain circuits are revived, and the onset of degenerative brain diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s are delayed.

Walking is beneficial for type 2 diabetes patients as well. Study shows that men and women who incorporate walking and physical activities into their lifestyle are 50 percent less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than people who are sedentary – and this applies to people of any weight. Walking helps regulate sugar levels in the body, which is an important factor when you’re fighting diabetes.

Not only is walking good for the health, it is also good for your budget. When you make walking as a means of transportation when going to work or school, you are actually saving on energy and money. And since walking helps you delay the onset of several chronic diseases, you are also saving on medication when you walk regularly.

Finally and most importantly, walking helps reduce stress, which is the root cause of all diseases. When you walk or perform other forms of exercise, your body releases “feel good” chemicals called endorphins. These substances help boost the mood for long periods of time. When you walk, you’re actually allowing yourself to relax and get rid of stress from your life, lowering your chances of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, and even cancer. So from now on, walk your way to maximum health!

One of the hardest things to do when one’s schedule is swamped with presentations and deadlines and lots of overtime is to lose weight. After all, the busy employee would not even have enough time to get his reports done, much less to get on an exercise bike to sweat out the extra calories he wolfed down during a high-stress lunch meeting! Also, the high-stress days usually call for extra food to calm the nerves, particularly for women professionals. But if you are that person, there is still a way to lose weight without stretching yourself too thin. The key is simply for you to know the basics in order to make the right food choices and incorporate motion naturally into your daily routine. The following guidelines should get you started on the right track to lose weight while still turning in a superb performance everyday:

1. Stock up on fruits or whole-wheat breads. This stocking process will keep you from buying a candy bar from the vending machine or a high-fat bag of chips when you get hungry. Snacking on an apple before a stressful presentation will even make you feel calmer instead of the usual chocolate bar that women turn to in high-anxiety situations. Also, fruits and high-fiber bread are nice to chew on to calm the nerves instead of depending on chips for that relaxing feel to which you may have become accustomed.

2. Keep a bottle of water or fresh fruit juice at hand. This will save you money as well as extra calories when you gulp it down instead of buying cola from the vending machine. If you are used to cold water, keep your bottle inside the refrigerator in the pantry, and just remember to swing by for it on your way out to lunch so you would not have an excuse to pair your sandwich lunch with a can of soda. These sweetened drinks are, after all, among the major causes of excess weight for both adults and children.

3. Instead of calling the errand boy every time you need to run something to the Photostat machine, you can consider it a quick break from whatever you are finishing and go there yourself. Sure, you may worry about wasting time, but in reality, giving your brain a break and your legs a little stretch can do wonders both to your work output and to your body.

4. Before you go on lunch break, take a quick drink of water or eat a small piece of whole-wheat bread. That way, when you join the lunch line, you will not feel your stomach gurgling as much and you will not feel compelled to stock up on the fatty food you are craving. You will be able to pick healthier alternatives such as food high in veggies instead of meat, and since you do not feel as hungry, you will not even buy extra servings like you usually would. For dessert, you can opt for a smaller piece instead of the usual large portion you enjoy.

5. Use stressful scenarios as an opportunity to take a quick walk. The walk could be simply out of your cubicle and down to the lobby, or even within your floor. It can be as quick as only two minutes, but the walk will not only cool your brain, but it will also keep you from stuffing your face out of the emotional strain. When you come back, you will feel refreshed and ready to get back to work without depending on food.

When you manage to incorporate these little changes into your daily routine, chances are, you will feel more active and healthier on the overall. Now you can see that it is perfectly possible to keep a healthy lifestyle even when you are too busy to go on a serious exercise program or to watch your food intake with extreme diligence. All it takes is a little knowledge about the best food items to pick to keep one’s mind at peak performance while not adding strain to your body, and adding a little extra movement to keep your body agile and active throughout a day of being stuck sitting behind a desk all day.
